Who We Are
Our Vision
The Caregiver’s D.R.E.A.M. (Disability, Rights, Education, Advocacy, Movement) is the brainchild of six women who have worked tirelessly to advance health and education equity for families of children with disabilities in the District of Columbia.
Through both professional work and personal experience, our founders understand firsthand the difficult journey families face when navigating systems of care and education. That’s why we’re committed to breaking barriers, building connections, and creating change.
At TCD, we combat feelings of scarcity and isolation by providing wellness, education, and advocacy programs tailored to caregivers' unique challenges. While we serve families throughout the District, our primary focus is on Wards 5, 7, and 8, where the need for equitable support is greatest.
Together, we empower caregivers with knowledge, resources, and a strong community—because no family should have to navigate this journey alone.
